Jonea Gene Boysen is mid-west native, born in corn-filled Nebraska, in a town with a population of approximately 200 people.From Nebraska, her family moved to Colorado, which is where she spent a majority of her childhood years – and where she competed as a 3-sport athlete in basketball, tennis & softball.During this time, Jonea received the CHSAA (Colorado High School Activities Association) & State Farm Insurance Company Active Scholar Award; the Presidents Award for Educational Excellence; The Denver Post & CBS News 4 Denver Academic & Activities Achievement Award; and was recognized as an USAA (United StatesAchievementAcademy) All-American Scholar.
Jonea then moved to California to attend college, receiving an International MBA in Marketing and Finance with honors and a B.S. in Business Administration with a double emphasis in Marketing and Management and a minor in Psychology, magna cum laude from California Lutheran University; and an International Marketing Global Business Program degree from FH-Joanneum in Graz, Austria (where Arnold Schwarzenegger is from), with high honors.Because of her academic achievements, Jonea was selected to be a part of the Sigma Beta Delta International Business Honor Society, Psi Chi Psychology Honor Society and served as a Departmental Assistant for the School of Business tutoring classmates in business law, statistics and marketing.Jonea also competed on the track & field team at her university, placing her in the university’s Top 10 all-time records for the hammer and javelin.
Jonea holds the highest industry designations from the American Marketing Association and Business Marketing Association-the Professional Certified Marketer and Certified Business Communicator credentials respectively. Jonea is in the process of receiving the Professional Internet Marketer Certification from WebCEO.
