Jonea Gene Copywriting & Consulting, Inc. (JGCC) is a boutique marketing communications firm located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina - with over 8 years of experience in integrated marketing communications with an emphasis in wording.  Our motto is “marketing through words where the write words = the write results.”  You could call us wordsmiths.  We put together wording for marketing projects ranging from websites and direct mail pieces to press releases and business/marketing plans.

We are a future husband/wife team (yes, wedding bells are coming soon) whom met on the track field & have turned our passion for excellence in athletics into dedication and determination in the word crafting business.  Both Tommy & Jonea set Top 10 marks at their respective universities in the throws & now seek to get consistent top marks online & in print for our clients.

Jonea has 3 degrees: an International MBA in Marketing and Finance; a B.S. in Business Administration with a double emphasis in Marketing and Management and a minor in Psychology, magna cum laude from California Lutheran University; and an International Marketing Global Business Program degree from FH-­Joanneum in Graz, Austria.  Jonea holds the highest industry designations from the American Marketing Association and Business Marketing Association-the Professional Certified Marketer and Certified Business Communicator credentials respectively. Tommy has a degree in physical education & another degree on the way in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Recreation & Sport Management from Coastal Carolina University.
