In January, 2009, Jonea Gene Marketing & PR became 8(a) Certified as a Small Woman and Minority-Owned Business. Jonea Gene is now eligible to bid and receive Federal Contracts under the Small Business Administration's (SBA) 8(a) Business Development Program. The Federal Government has a need for qualified small businesses as they help stimulate the small business economy with about $40 billion annually. By law, the Federal Government must spend at least 23% of its prime contracting dollars with small businesses across the nation. This 9 year program is a huge honor for us at Jonea Gene Marketing & PR and we look forward to providing the same ethical solutions and excellent results we have gained for our private sector clients! In addition, we are a certified small woman and minority-owned business with the Governor's Office in South Carolina and HUB Office in North Carolina.
