Hi, my name is Jonea Gene Boysen; and yes, I am a newbie.  Being new to the area, I found myself searching for a way that I could not only get involved in the community, but also gain valuable exposure by being linked to a reputable organization-thus I joined the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Program.  The Ambassador Program has gone so well this year, I was honored by being named Ambassador Chair.  As an Ambassador, I have been able to meet so many wonderful business owners, all of whom have been so kind and concerned about the community.  You see, my duties as an Ambassador are pretty easy: I adopt local businesses each month; I call or visit the businesses to make sure that their membership is in good standing; and I see if there is anything I can do to help-that’s it.  The unexpected part of being an Ambassador, is that by being a caring member of the community, my business has actually increased as well.
